I started Lotus from a stretch of my life I didn't know how to get through. The lotus flower made sense to me. It has to push through the hardest conditions just to reach the surface. That's what growth actually looks like. I named the brand after it so I'd never forget what pulled me through. That's the message I wanted sitting on every desk.
